Yes. I break it down into black and white in a thumbnail. Then I add one more tone. I try to organize into the 3 to 4 tones first. It helps to figure out how you're going to render too. I really want to showcase the torso in this one so I'll be keeping all shadows really simple.
Very organized! Do you start with two tones with the figure and slowly add in the tones in between?
