(MV) sketch

Hello people! I'm glad to be here, and I want to learn from you! I post some sketches I did today, 40 minutes each, more or less. It's that ok? Tomorrow I'll start with a long pose!

  1. Overall. You have great value organizations.

One thing I see consistently off is short bodies, heads not connecting to rib cage and missing centerline. I would recommend slowing down and concentrating on proportion and the simple forms that lay underneath. There's a lot of detail that are flattening out your drawing. There's too much unnecessary details or there are details missing where they would help the form or gesture.

Hold off on rendering and make sure the lay in is solid. Remember that more marks and details don't equate to great drawing unless they have meaning. Even in super academic figure drawing, the base is stressed because if you have a bad start, you're setting yourself up for disaster.

    Hope this helps. Good job!!
